On this day in 1885, the Principality of Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia were united — a historic event that became a powerful symbol of national unity, determination, and the Bulgarian people’s aspiration to shape their own future.
The Unification reminds us of the strength of a shared purpose and of what can be achieved when people are brought together by responsibility, courage, and belief in the future.
